SU is an independent department within the police that, among other things, investigates crimes committed by police officers.
By establishing its own reporting center, the aim is to strengthen the ability to "support particularly vulnerable victims of crime."
"With our own reporting reception, we strengthen victim safety and the department's ability to handle victims. In addition, it reduces the transparency of our cases, which strengthens our independence," says Anders Öström, head of the case management unit at SU, in a press release.
The reception can be reached via 114 14. You can still report as usual through other parts of the police.
