400 drones and 40 missiles were sent against Ukraine in Russian attacks overnight Saturday, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Unfortunately, energy facilities have suffered significant damage, affecting the energy situation in practically the entire country and resulting in major power outages," he wrote on social media.
Zelenskyy said the Russian attacks are deliberately targeting energy infrastructure and that this is one of several signs that Russia lacks "the will to end this war in the near future."
"Everywhere, the necessary resources have been deployed to eliminate the consequences of the attacks," Zelenskyy said.
