John Prevost, the middle one of the three Prevost brothers, reveals to TV station WMAQ-TV in Chicago that he spoke with Robert, now Leo XIV, the day before the conclave began, writes Deadline.

”I said: ’Are you ready for this? Have you seen the movie "The Conclave" so you know how to behave?’ And he had just finished watching the movie so he knew how to behave” says John Prevost in the interview.

In the real conclave, which ended on Thursday, Cardinal Prevost was considered an unlikely choice for pope. John Prevost reveals that even the pope himself doubted his odds of being chosen.

”I didn’t believe it and Rob didn’t believe it either," says John Prevost to the TV station.
