It is now clear that Malmö will get a new international music festival this summer. Dream Park is being arranged at Tallriken in Pildammsparken on 1-2 August, reports Sydsvenskan.

This will be a bit like Big Slap 2.0. We're going back to Tallriken and the layout will be the same as before, with a Friday featuring international and Swedish artists within hip-hop, urban, and afrobeat. And then a Saturday with classic Big Slap-edm, but with a slightly new touch, says the organizer Ali Eftekhari to the newspaper.

Eftekhari founded the festival Big Slap, which was discontinued in 2023. Instead, the smaller festival Harbour was arranged last summer with Swedish artists in Nyhamnen in Malmö.

It is not yet known which artists will perform at Dream Park.
