A man was convicted of raping a woman and pushing her down a mine shaft in 2022. The woman survived, and the man was convicted of attempted murder and aggravated rape. The mine shaft has now been sealed off again, reports TV4 Nyheterna. The case under investigation is believed to have occurred several years ago.
It concerns a preliminary investigation into murder. The police's Cold Case Unit is handling the case, says Stefan Larsson, the police's press spokesman, to TV4.
