The attacks were targeted at about ten locations in an area stretching thirty kilometers from the Israeli border, according to Lebanon's state news agency NNA.
The Israeli army claims that it has, among other things, attacked a training facility used by an elite force belonging to the Iran-backed Shia militia Hezbollah.
Israel and Hezbollah signed a ceasefire just over a year ago. Despite this, Israel has continued to attack targets in Lebanon, claiming that Hezbollah is trying to rebuild its military capabilities.
