Those waiting for the sequel to the nearly twelve-year-old "GTA V" will have to wait a little longer, announced developer Rockstar recently.
Shortly after the announcement, they released a second trailer for the game, which drew viewers in droves to the screens.
According to a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer was viewed 475 million times in one day – which, according to Rockstar, is more than the largest film trailer for "Deadpool & Wolverine", which was viewed 365 million times in 24 hours.
The trailer shows more of the main characters Jason and Lucia's romance and the surroundings in the Miami-inspired fictional city of Vice City.
"When a simple push goes wrong, they end up on the darkest side of the USA's sunniest place, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy that spans the state of Leonida", the developer describes the plot.
According to the latest bid, "GTA VI" will be released on May 26, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series.
