Paramount+ has decided to discontinue the new version of "Frasier" with Kelsey Grammer after two seasons, reports American media.
CBS Studios, which is responsible for the production, states that they hope to find a new home for the classic TV comedy.
"Frasier" originated as a spinoff of "Cheers" and was originally broadcast in eleven seasons between 1993 and 2003. Two decades later, in 2023, the series was revived.
When TT interviewed Grammer in early 2024, he was enthusiastic about making a comeback as psychiatrist Frasier Crane.
I want to do 100 more episodes, he said then.
