The new fines total 22 million euros (approximately 220 million SEK), bringing the total French fines for Shein to 210 million euros (approximately 2.3 billion SEK).
The decision follows an investigation by the French consumer authority DGCCRF into a number of e-commerce platforms based outside the EU.
According to the investigation, Shein's subsidiary ISEL is alleged to have prevented consumers' right of withdrawal, omitted mandatory information about the production chain and withheld information about microplastics in textiles. Another subsidiary - ISSL - is being fined for violating French consumer law.
