Anna Jansson, Viveca Sten, Johan Theorin, Gustaf Skördeman and Yrsa Sigurdardóttir are some of the authors participating in the festival on May 29–31.
The initiative was led by author Maria Grund in collaboration with Kulturhuset på Sudret. Admission is free, and on the first day over 600 schoolchildren from rural Gotland will meet a selection of the authors.
"Inviting authors with millions of readers here to our small community was perhaps bordering on madness, but that these great authors accept and take time out of their hectic schedules to spend a whole day with our children and young people in southern Gotland means something," says Maria Grund in a press release.
