"Our president shares our love for young, marriageable (nubiles) girls," the sender writes in the letter, CNN reports.
The letter is postmarked three days after Epstein's death in August 2019, which could possibly be explained by the prison's screening of outgoing mail causing a delay, according to CNN.
The recipient, Nassar, is convicted of sexually assaulting hundreds of female gymnasts.
Trump is not mentioned by name in the letter, but is described only as “our president.” The letter further states that whenever “a young beauty walked by,” Trump loved to “grab snatch,” while Epstein himself and Nassar had to content themselves with “snatching food” in the justice system’s dining halls.
"Life is unfair," the letter concludes, according to The Guardian.
“Sensational claims”
The US Department of Justice warns that parts of the material released on Tuesday contain "false and sensationalist claims" against President Trump.
The submissions “were submitted to the FBI just before the 2020 presidential election,” the department writes on X.
"The allegations are unfounded and false and if they contained anything credible, they would likely have already been used as a weapon against President Trump," it further states.
In later posts, the Department of Justice writes that the authenticity of the handwritten letter has been investigated and that the FBI determines that it is fake.
The department points out that the postmark is from Virginia and not New York, where Epstein was being held. The return address also lists the wrong detention center, Epstein's prisoner number is missing and the handwriting does not match, according to the department.
On a private jet
The Washington Post highlights another reference to Trump.
Among other things, a New York-based assistant attorney general is said to have contacted Trump's staff in 2020, when the indictment against Epstein's accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell was being prepared.
"For your information, we want you to know that the flight data we received yesterday shows that Donald Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet many more times than previously reported (or what we knew)," the email states.
There are said to be at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996. The material describes a trip with only Trump, Epstein and a 20-year-old woman as passengers, the newspaper writes.
It is well known that Donald Trump hung out with convicted sex offender Epstein in the 90s and 00s.
The president himself has said that he did not know about Epstein's dealings with minors until it became known through a legal settlement in 2008. Trump has also said that he broke up with Epstein in the mid-00s.
