The accident occurred on Friday afternoon in a so-called adventure mine in Tuna-Hästberg.
The diver had experienced a technical fault with his equipment and fainted before he went underwater. He was quickly pulled out and revived, the operations manager for the adventure mine told P4 Dalarna.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. According to Region Dalarna, he has no injuries.
In December last year, a man died in a diving accident in the mine. Also in August of the same year, a man died while diving.
