The best Swede was Martin Ponsiluoma, sixth, half a minute behind Botn with three misses.

Sebastian Samuelsson finished ninth, over a minute behind Botn, with three misses. Jesper Nelin came second-to-last with five misses in the final race of the season.

After Saturday's pursuit, Samuelsson was dropped from second to third in the overall World Cup. Sunday's ninth place, combined with Botn's win, meant the Swede dropped another notch, to fourth place. This meant there was no Swede in the top three overall.

After Friday's sprint, Samuelsson was knocked out of the overall sprint cup by Norway's Sturla Holm Lægreid.

Final top five in the overall men's Biathlon World Cup:

Eric Perrot, France, 1,263 points.

Sturla Holm Lægreid, Norway, 984 points.

Johan-Olav Botn, Norway, 968 points.

Sebastian Samuelsson, Sweden, 918 points.

Emilien Jacquelin, France, 876 points.
