People have also been injured in Russian attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on social media.
There have also been attacks on Odessa, Sumy and Kherson, but there are no reports of injuries. In total, Russia sent 122 drones and two ballistic missiles into Ukraine during the night to Sunday, according to Zelenskyj.
Several of the injured in the Kiev region are being treated in hospitals for burns, shrapnel wounds and smoke inhalation, according to the Kyiv Independent .
"The emergency services are evacuating the residents of the (affected) high-rise building," writes the region's governor Mykola Kalashnyk on Telegram.
During the night of Saturday, another Russian attack on Ukraine took place, killing three people and injuring about ten. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of people lost power in the attacks.
Zelensky notes that deadly Russian attacks occur daily.
"This week alone, the Russians have used nearly 1,400 attack drones, 1,100 guided bombs, and 66 missiles against our people," the president wrote.
