Denmark is donating 405 million Danish kronor, equivalent to over 604 million Swedish kronor, which will go towards humanitarian efforts and reconstruction.
Denmark has stated that we will stand by Ukraine's side for as long as it takes. Therefore, we will continue our continuous and unwavering support to Ukraine, says Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen according to Ritzau.
Norway is donating 12.5 billion Norwegian kronor, equivalent to approximately 11.9 billion Swedish kronor, towards, among other things, humanitarian aid and energy security, reports NTB.
The funds are part of the allocation that the Storting decided on in November for the Nansen program, a Norwegian support program for Ukraine, for 2025. 12.5 billion Norwegian kronor will go towards civilian and humanitarian support, while 22.5 billion Norwegian kronor will go towards military support.
"Both the military and civilian needs in Ukraine are enormous. The war has led to great suffering and massive destruction. It is absolutely necessary to continue the civilian support to Ukraine", says Norway's Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in a press release, according to NTB.
The government announced on Sunday that Sweden will be donating air defense systems worth 1.2 billion kronor to Ukraine. These funds are part of the support package worth 13.5 billion kronor that was presented earlier in January.
