Every tenth krona is estimated to be paid out incorrectly in wage subsidies and new start jobs.
"The payment authority's calculations show that at least 120 million kronor can be recovered to the state treasury in the first round", the authority writes in a press release.
Five percent of those who have an employment with wage subsidy have extra income of more than 10,000 kronor, which may indicate a higher work capacity than what has emerged or that the employment is a sham employment. More controls will now be carried out.
