Best-selling author Colleen Hoover's books have become huge successes in recent years – and are also hot properties in Hollywood. Last year, for example, the film adaptation of "It starts with us" starring Blake Lively in the lead role was released.
More books by Colleen Hoover are on their way to the big screen. It is now clear that "Memories of him" from 2022 will be made into a film, starring Maika Monroe in the lead role, writes Deadline. She is previously best known for playing the lead role in the horror film "Longlegs".
The story revolves around Kenna, who returns to her hometown after serving a five-year prison sentence, determined to reunite with her four-year-old daughter.
Two more Colleen Hoover books are in various stages of the process of being adapted into films. These include "Verity", where Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson will play the lead roles, and "Regret". Allison Williams and McKenna Grace will play the major roles in that film adaptation.
