Lukas Syberyjski is clear as the new coach for AIK's women's football team. He replaces Jesper Björk, who has changed roles within the club. The agreement extends until December 31, 2027.
"He leaves nothing to chance, is clear towards both players and leaders in what he wants, and is very good at bringing out the absolute best in everyone. These are the qualities we sought in a coach, so that AIK can take the next step and become a team to be reckoned with," says the women's team's sports manager Zinar Spindari to the club's website.
AIK finished twelfth in the women's Allsvenskan table this season, and were thus forced to qualify to stay in the league. In the qualifying round, they defeated Umeå IK with a total of 2–1 in the double meeting.
