It is the actor Ruari Cannon who is suing Spacey, 65, and two organizations affiliated with London's Old Vic Theatre, where Kevin Spacey was the artistic director between 2003 and 2015.
The civil lawsuit for sexual abuse was filed on Wednesday with London's High Court.
No details about the allegations have been published yet.
Spacey was acquitted in 2023 of allegations of multiple sexual assaults against four men after a trial that lasted several weeks in London. Several charges have also been brought against Kevin Spacey in the USA, but all have been dropped.
The allegations against the two-time Oscar-winning Spacey began to emerge in connection with the #MeToo movement in 2017. This led to him being fired from the Netflix series "House of Cards", but the actor has denied all allegations and has not been convicted in any case.
