Johan Andersson is leaving the position of CEO for the investment company Mellby Gård at the turn of the year. He will instead succeed his 80-year-old father, Rune Andersson, as chairman of the investment company, reports the newspaper Dagens industri.

Johan Andersson will be succeeded by Vice CEO Mikael Helmerson, a succession that was announced as early as May this year.

Mellby Gård is, among other things, a major owner of the clothing chain Kappahl, the clothing brand Oscar Jacobson, and the retail chain Duni. The portfolio also includes a large stake in Academedia.
