The match started at a furious pace and after just under eleven minutes of play, Buffalo led 3-2.
Then Montreal took over the scoring - again. In previous series victories, the Canadiens have won big - four-goal margins both times - and this time the final result was similar.
The goals, however, did not fully reflect the game. Buffalo completely poured shots at Montreal goalie Jakub Dobes in the final period - without scoring. Shots in the period ended 20-3 in Buffalo's favor; Buffalo also took ten more shots from outside.
Montreal now leads the series 3-2.
