The Allsvenskan and Superettan are now complete for the season. During the season, the two leagues attracted a combined 3,291,868 spectators – a new attendance record.

“Swedish men's elite football continues to grow and once again clubs and supporters have shown incredible commitment,” says Ola Rydén, league manager at Swedish Elite Football, in a statement.

This year's audience figure is an increase of almost 100,000 compared to last year's record year. In the Allsvenskan, the average audience was almost 11,000 people, while the Superettan averaged just over 2,700.

AIK attracted the most spectators, with an average of 30,023 visitors per match – which is a new Scandinavian audience record over an entire season.
