Two people were killed in separate attacks early on Sunday in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, according to the nearby Awdah hospital. Six more people are reported to have been injured.

In northern Gaza, two bodies were found after an attack on a house early on Sunday, according to the civil defense.

The Israeli military claims to have discovered a Hamas tunnel over a kilometer long in central Gaza. According to reports, it was close to residential houses, and inside, several rooms and equipment used by fighters for longer stays were found.

Since the outbreak of war on October 7, more than 41,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Hamas-controlled health department. More than half of them are reported to be women and children. However, it is not clear how many of them are fighters. Israel, on the other hand, claims to have killed more than 17,000 fighters, without presenting any evidence.
