The flames from last week’s Ukrainian attack had not yet been extinguished when Ukraine attacked again on Tuesday night, reported The Kyiv Independent.

This is the third time in just under two weeks that the facility in Tuapse in southern Russia has been attacked.

After the previous attack, last Monday, authorities warned of “poison rain” over the city, which is home to one of the largest oil ports on the Black Sea but is also popular with Russian holidaymakers. Images showed black smoke, oil spills in the sea and dead fish and birds on the beaches.

Ukraine sees energy facilities as legitimate military targets, as they finance the Russian war machine and supply it with fossil fuels.
