New apartment construction rises 8% in first half of the year, SCB says

The increase is clear when it comes to apartment buildings, including special housing.

But when it comes to housing in single-family homes, the trend is downward. During the first half of the year, construction began on 2,650 residential apartments in single-family homes, which is 18 percent fewer than during the same period last year.
