One man was killed in the attack, the military command, Southcom, said in a post on X. Two other people on board survived the attack.
More than 200 people have been killed in repeated US attacks on ships in the eastern Pacific and Caribbean Sea since September last year. The US claims the boats were used to transport drugs, but has provided no evidence to support those claims.
