Now, 24 more people have become plaintiffs against the doctor, although not in the ongoing case, the police in Trøndelag announce in a press release. The new reports have led to the police initiating a new preliminary investigation against the man.
After the original trial against the doctor was concluded in February, the police received information that gave reason to search his residence again, the police write.
"The police now believe that they have found all the items mentioned in the indictment during these searches of the defendant's home," says prosecutor Anette Strøm Røsholdt.
The new evidence will be presented on an additional day in court in mid-May.
