Abdukodir Chusanov moved to Manchester City earlier in the week – and has had a nightmare start in the big club.
In the 20-year-old's first start for the team, in the 3–1 home match against Chelsea in the Premier League, he treated the guests to an early goal.
The defender's home debut was far too loose and Noni Madueke made it 1–0 already in the third minute, and shortly afterwards the Uzbek received a yellow card.
The new acquisition, who according to media reports was bought for 40 million euros from French Lens, was substituted in the 54th minute.
Before that, backline companion Joško Gvardiol had equalized. In the 68th minute, Erling Braut Haaland scored the 2–1 goal and Phil Foden set the 3–1 score.
Omar Marmoush, who was bought for 70 million euros from Frankfurt, also made his debut from the start.
