Payment provider Nets experienced problems with their payment terminals around the Nordic region late on Saturday evening – but after just under three hours they seem to be largely resolved, reports Danish Ritzau.
Many terminals are down and we are now investigating the problem, said Søren Winge, press chief at Nets, earlier to Norwegian VG.
According to Winge, the company received reports that there were problems in Norway and Denmark, but according to VG it also concerned several other European countries.
Winge says according to Ritzau that the cause of the problems is still unknown. To Ekstra Bladet he says that there are no indications that the crash was caused by an attack.
