Now it's Netflix that will take on the adventurers, but Daphne, Fred, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby will not be animated this time, but will be portrayed by actors.
The eight-episode series is created by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg and takes the viewers back to the very first mystery that brought the gang together.
During the last summer at Ruby-Spears camp, friends Shaggy and Daphne get entangled in a mystery involving an abandoned Great Dane puppy that may have witnessed a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic Velma and the stylish, but somewhat peculiar, Freddy, they set out to solve the case.
It is not yet known which actors will participate in the series.
