The news comes just two weeks after season four premiered on October 15, writes The Wrap.
The series revolves around Kate Wyler, the U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom, played by Keri Russell. In the fourth season, Wyler tries to mend her relationship with her husband, Hal (Rufus Sewell), and improve relations between the United States and Britain, which are on a collision course.
Other roles include Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford, both known from another successful political drama series, "The White House."
The fourth season of “The Diplomat” had 4.8 million views in its premiere week and increased to 5.5 million in its second week, making it the third most-watched English-language series on Netflix.
