Netflix House opens on Wednesday in the King of Prussia Mall – one of the largest shopping malls in the United States, outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – in a space of over 10,000 square meters.
The amusement park is free to enter (but charges for specific activities) and will offer a wide range of dining options and experiences, inspired by some of the platform's most popular series and films, such as "Bridgerton", "Stranger Things", "Squid Game" and "K-pop: Demon Hunters".
Netflix's marketing manager Marian Lee says the company has chosen not to enter.
– We wanted accessibility. We want to be a place you can visit every day.
Following the Pennsylvania opening, more locations are planned: one in Dallas, Texas, which will open on December 11, and a third on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada by 2027.
Marian Lee did not disclose exact construction costs, but said that “it is a huge investment for the company.”
There are currently no plans for Netflix House parks outside the United States.
