“Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model” premieres on February 16 and examines the program in three parts.
“ANTM” premiered in 2003 and aired for 24 seasons until 2016. At its peak the show had more than 100 million viewers globally.
Former supermodel Tyra Banks, the show's former host, appears in the documentary along with judges Jay Manuel, Miss J and Nigel Barker, as well as former winners of the competition.
On social media, many former fans are now hoping for an explanation for the program's controversial history, including body-shaming and extreme appearance changes participants endured.
"ANTM" also had a Scandinavian version, "Top Model Sweden".
