Netanyahu has instructed his lawyers to sue the newspaper and journalist Shlomi Eldar, Haaretz writes.
On Tuesday, Haaretz reported that Netanyahu ignored a stark warning from the United Arab Emirates just over a week before Hamas carried out an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which was the starting point of the war in Gaza.
In a conversation with Emirati President Mohamed bin Zayed, Netanyahu reportedly received information that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was planning a major "operation" against Israel.
According to Netanyahu, the claims that he received the information are not true.
