Today's Hezbollah is a shadow of its former self compared with Nasrallah's glory days, Netanyahu said, referring to the Iran-backed group's leader who was killed by Israel in 2024.
"But we are not done yet. There are things we plan to do to deal with the remaining rocket and drone threats," Netanyahu said, hours after a 10-day ceasefire came into effect.
Israel's goal of "dismantling Hezbollah" will not be "achieved overnight," according to Netanyahu. It will require "sustained effort, patience and perseverance, as well as skillful diplomatic maneuvering," he said.
