Netanyahu claims that Iran "can no longer enrich uranium" and that the country's ability to manufacture ballistic missiles is being eliminated.
"We have destroyed the missiles and the nuclear infrastructure. And what we are destroying now are the factories that manufacture the components for these missiles and for the nuclear weapons that they are trying to produce," Netanyahu said at a press conference on Thursday evening.
Netanyahu also says that Iran's air defense and navy are greatly weakened.
"There is still work to be done, and we will do it," Netanyahu said.
At the same time, Netanyahu says the war may end "much faster than people think."
The US already stated after the twelve-day war against Iran in June last year that it had "destroyed" Iran's nuclear energy facilities. Tehran has claimed that the country's nuclear program is civilian.
Netanyahu also mentioned Wednesday's Israeli attack on gas fields in Iran, which escalated the war. Israel acted alone, the prime minister claims, and thus aligns with US President Donald Trump's attempts to distance himself from the attack.
Israeli sources have told Reuters that the attack was coordinated with the United States.
Trump said earlier on Wednesday that he had told Netanyahu not to carry out new attacks on gas facilities in Iran.
"President Trump asked us to wait with future attacks, and we are waiting," Netanyahu said.
