Nestlé sells 50% stake in bottled water business in deal with Platinum Equity

Private equity firm Platinum Equity, led by billionaire Tom Gores, is forming a joint venture with Nestlé called Peranel to run the business. Peranel is valued at 4.9 billion euros, approximately 54 billion kronor, in the deal, according to a statement from the two owners.
