Nestlé recalls NAN and Alfamino infant formulas

Nestlé is recalling milk substitutes under the NAN and Alfamino brands.

"The recall is a precautionary measure due to the potential presence of cereulide, a toxin produced by the microorganism Bacillus cereus, in an oil used as an ingredient in the affected products," Nestlé writes in a press release.

The company also recalled batches of several of the products on December 10.

Nestlé is recalling the following products:

NAN Pro 1, 800 g powder, batch numbers 51660346AD, 52630346AC, 52630346AE, 51200346AL and 51730346AA.

NAN Pro 1, ready-to-drink 200 ml single pack, batch number 52860295M.

NAN Pro 1, ready-to-drink 200 ml multipack 6 pcs, batch number 53020295M.

NAN Expertpro Sensitive 1, 800 g powder form, batch numbers 51320346AF, 51690346AB, 52670346AD.

NAN Expertpro Sensitive 1, ready-to-drink 200 ml single pack, batch numbers 53020295M, 53030295M, 53080295M.

NAN Expertpro HA 1, 800 g powder form, batch numbers 52810742F1, 51690742F4.

Alfamino Junior, 400 g powder form, batch numbers 52750017Y3, 51620017Y1.

Alfamino, 400 g powder form, batch numbers 51670017Y1, 51120017Y2.
