"Bruce and thousands of musicians believe you're ruining the USA", writes the American-Canadian artist on social media after Trump clashed with both Springsteen and Swift. The president is "out of control", reports Billboard.
It was during a concert that Springsteen called Trump "corrupt, incompetent and treacherous" – whereupon the president struck back with the words: "Springsteen is a washed-up has-been rock singer". About Swift, Trump said she's no longer "hot".
Now Young is urging the president to stop caring about what rock singers say.
"You're worried about that instead of the dying children in Gaza. That's your problem. I'm not afraid of you", wrote Young and added that Trump should focus on saving the USA from the mess he's created instead.
Neil Young is kicking off his world tour "Love earth world tour" in Sweden this summer, before it continues to the rest of Europe and North America.
