"We are now taking further steps to strengthen local support and create better conditions for the expansion of electricity production," Energy Minister Ebba Busch said in a press release.
The investigator will propose that the price paid for redeemed property correspond to the value the house would have had if the wind turbines had not been built.
To increase acceptance of new wind turbines, the government has previously introduced support for municipalities that allow new wind farms. Local residents can also receive compensation.
