A 50-year-old man is sentenced to three months in prison for animal cruelty and violating the Animal Protection Act for subjecting around 60 cows and 15 chickens to neglect, according to Västerbottens Mellanbygd.
A 20-year-old woman is sentenced to a conditional sentence and day fines for aiding and abetting the same crime.
According to the verdict from Skellefteå District Court, they neglected the animals by letting them live in a dirty and cold environment without sufficient water or feed.
