The album reached third place on the overall Billboard 200 chart in 1982 and is now back for the first time since 1985.
The album now sits at number 26 and debuts on several charts that did not exist in 1982, such as "Americana/Folk Albums" (no. 3) and "Indie Store album sales" (no. 3).
"Nebraska" was re-released on October 24, 2025 with 27 additional tracks. The same day saw the premiere of the film "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere," starring Jeremy Allen White as The Boss. All versions of "Nebraska" - both old and new - are counted together for tracking and listing purposes.
