The target of the attack was a satellite communications facility, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.
According to Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov, a house was hit in Yegoryevsk, southeast of the capital.
"Unfortunately, a six-month-old baby died on the way to the hospital," he wrote on Telegram.
In total, Russian air defenses shot down nearly 420 Ukrainian drones over the country during the night, the Russian Defense Ministry said, according to AFP.
Ukrainian attacks on Russia have escalated. Last week, Zelenskyy announced a 40-day offensive aimed at pressuring Moscow to end the war.
