Deadly attacks have been carried out in Pakistan's southwestern province of Baluchistan after armed militants attacked several locations, police and military personnel across the region, a spokesman for the Pakistani military said.
At least four civilians were killed in the village of Hanna Urak on the night between Saturday and Sunday, according to the military.
A group of police officers guarding the construction of a water pipeline were attacked on Monday and a military convoy was attacked on Wednesday.
A total of 54 militiamen and 38 soldiers are reported to have been killed. The Pakistani military says several counterattacks are underway.
The Pakistani central government has long fought separatist movements in the region.
