The country has been hit by heavy rains, floods and a powerful earthquake since March 26. According to the latest update from Taliban-controlled authorities, 99 people have died and about 100 others have been injured.
Thousands of people are reported to have been forced to flee their homes.
In recent years, international organizations have warned that Afghanistan is particularly vulnerable as the war-torn country is repeatedly hit by natural disasters and widespread hunger.
In neighboring Pakistan, dozens were reported to have died after torrential rains last week.
