NCC’s order intake rises for fourth straight quarter amid brighter economic outlook

The increasingly bright economic outlook is now also reflected in construction company NCC's order book. For the fourth consecutive quarter, order intake in construction and civil engineering increased, the company said in its interim report for the third quarter.

The increase was primarily driven by projects with military connections and security-classified buildings, the company wrote. In addition, an agreement to build high-voltage power lines in Västra Götaland was finalized during the quarter.

The company's operating profit was SEK 831 million during the quarter, compared with SEK 767 million in the same period last year.
