NBA star Tyrese Haliburton's injury woes continue. After tearing his Achilles tendon in last year's Finals and not playing a game so far this season, Haliburton has now been diagnosed with shingles.
"He had a meeting with us in Washington and was showing some strange symptoms. It's a unique situation, but he's in good spirits," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle told Sports Illustrated.
Under Haliburton's leadership, the Indiana Pacers were the NBA's big surprise when they made it all the way to the Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, losing in the decisive seventh game.
The current season without Haliburton has been a real failure, however. With only 15 wins in 58 games, the Pacers are last in the Eastern Conference.
