The agenda includes views on potential peace talks and thoughts on a peacekeeping force to Ukraine.
The meeting is to be held in Brussels, in connection with the top meeting that the EU has with countries in Western Balkan on Wednesday evening.
According to Politico, which cites five different people – anonymous sources – in addition to French President Emmanuel Macron and the NATO chief, also Germany's Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Polish President Andrzej Duda, as well as EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and the new President of the European Council António Costa are expected to attend. According to Reuters, Italy's and the UK's Prime Ministers Giorgia Meloni and Keir Starmer have also been invited.
Zelenskyj has already been invited to the EU top meeting in Brussels, which takes place on Thursday, December 19. Ukraine is a main topic there.
