Between January and June this year, 660 nationalist crimes were recorded, compared with 440 during the same period last year, Haaretz reports, citing figures from Israeli authorities.
Most of the crimes involve clashes, roadblocks, vandalism, stone-throwing, arson and agricultural-related crimes, the newspaper writes.
The number of Palestinians injured and killed increased by 70 percent during the same period.
Concerns and tensions in the West Bank have increased in recent years in line with Israel's expansive settlement policy. According to statistics from the Israeli police, nationalist and settler crimes against Palestinians in the West Bank have increased by 560 percent since 2019, with only about 6.6 percent leading to prosecution.
On Sunday, settlers set fire to two mosques and scrawled racist messages on their facades, AFP reports, among others. The incidents followed Friday's shooting in the town of Tell, in which four Palestinians and two Israelis were shot dead.
The circumstances surrounding the firefight remain unclear. According to several testimonies in Tell, the local population was confronted by a group of settlers - after which Israeli forces were called in. One of the Israelis killed was reportedly part of a local defense force.
The Israeli military conducted raids on 300 locations in the West Bank over the course of Saturday following the shooting. The 70 Palestinians detained in the raids are accused of being suspected terrorists, according to Israel.
