Musovic has previously played in the women's top division FC Rosengård, before she left for the English top club Chelsea.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper left the London club after the season, and has been without a contract since then.

Now Musovic returns to Swedish football for play in MFF.

"We are incredibly pleased to get a player of Zecira's quality and her experience from playing at the absolute highest level", says the club's assistant sports manager Maxim Khalil in a press release.

The contract is written until 2028.

I have always had a fondness for Malmö FF and the mentality that exists here, that one dares to stick out one's neck, says Musovic in an interview on MFF's website.

Musovic has made 27 international appearances and was one of Sweden's most important players during the World Championship in Australia and New Zealand 2023.

Earlier this year, Musovic announced that she is pregnant, she will therefore not play in this summer's European Championship in Switzerland.

There are very few answers that I can give myself (about when she is back in play). But I have fought to the death to come back in the best possible and fastest way afterwards, says Musovic.

Malmö FF is in third place in the women's top division.
